• Every recording in the dataset comes from a real, consenting contributor from the community
• Recordings are reviewed and approved by hand before being used to train the model

Founder background

Rah Sharma is the founder of Nighthawk Productions, with a background in video production and the technical tools around it — transcription, dubbing, and audio-sync tooling. Fiji Baat began as a response to a simple gap: none of the language tools he built or used could handle Fiji Hindi at all, because no dataset for it had ever existed.
